USAU College Nationals 2012
We are very excited to be hosting the USA Ultimate 2012 College Championships! We want to make sure all the players and spectators have a great time in Boulder and that our tournament is everything they hoped.
You are a huge part of making this event great – we are going to have over 100 volunteers, 850 athletes and 1,000-2,000 spectators at the event. There are some great sponsors and of course the competition will be awesome.
This site provides a lot of details about the weekend, but let me know if you have any other questions.

FAQ's
What if I want to trade shifts with someone or if I want to offer to take a shift for someone? There eventually will be a comments section on each shift's page where you can ask to trade/offer to take shifts.I want to volunteer with my friend, how do we make this happen? Sign up for the same shift block(s). For example if you both sign up for the first scorekeeping shift, you can both be scorekeepers for the same games (2 scorekeepers/game).
Can I get on a few mamabird games for scorekeeping assuming they make nationals? If you're score keeping during a team's game you want you want to watch, priority will go as the following for who gets to work the game 1)That team's current B teamers 2) that team's alumni 3) high school kids 4) everyone else.
Volunteer Perks
-Volunteers will receive a volunteer T shirt, an event disc, a player pack-You may get to drive a golf cart or gator for field crew shifts

Parking
Auxiliary parking is kindly offered by our neighbors. We are using a church lot Friday, Saturday and Monday, and the undeveloped portion of the Memorial Park (on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend). Please be quiet and respectful, leave no trash, don’t park at the church on Sunday and use the areas for parking only (don’t linger).
General Volunteer Responsibilities
As volunteers you will have specific responsibilities (e.g. scorekeeping, maintaining water stations, trash duties, etc.) these should be your focus, but you will also be eyes and ears out on the fields and you can alert the Tournament Director via radio to on-field needs as they come up. Some things to look out for:- water is low
- trash is high
- field has hole that should be filled with sand
- player needs medical attention
Additionally, when you see violations of the Site Rules (listed below) - If you are comfortable, you can approach the person infringing and inform them of the rules in a respectful manner. Or if you prefer, you can just alert the TD or tournament staff that there is an issue. If you do inform the person of the rules, they will likely comply and resolve the matter, but if they don’t comply, please inform the TD or staff and have them deal with it.
